Hello everyone! As stated, I am putting my Amati F tuba up for sale. It has a dogleg which can be added to the main tuning slide to put it in Eb, and the slides pull enough to make it work. Personally, I prefer it in F, but that's mainly because I am more fluent with the key.

The pros:
It is a fine F tuba with a dark sound. There is a very easy place to install a 5th valve in the leadpipe if you plan on using this as your main F.

The cons:
The linkages are the old clock-spring style. My good friend was fine with them and played it as is for 3 months in his concert band, but I would probably opt to update the linkages.

If I didn't already have my dream F tuba, I would keep this horn and add the the 5th valve and update the linkages myself. I am asking $1,100.00 for the horn, but I will entertain reasonable offers. It comes with a Denis Wick 3 mouthpiece and a Tuxedo gig bag. For an extra $50, I will throw in my blue Miraphone gig bag. I can email pictures to anyone interested. The fastest way to get ahold of me is by email. tylerferris1213@gmail.com" target="_blank
