Decided to keep the Alex. Sorry y'all. Rudy 3/4 is for sale instead.

Too bad you can't remove the thumb ring and just use that instead. :P

Bummer to sell it, but you are in great shape with a Rudy 3/4!

Looks like a great classic horn!

And if I were, I would buy it from you. You know how this is going to end, though...

Bump. Pics, recordings, video available on request. Price negotiable. Although just a bit bigger than a Miraphone 186, this tuba has an incredible sound and plays much bigger than it looks. The more I write about it, the more I am almost convincing myself to keep it.

Pros:
-Very lightweight, handmade = very resonant and quick to respond
-"The sound"
- workable intonation (no main slide trigger needed)
-Under $5k

Cons:
- Thinner sheet brass is easier to dent
- Remembering to play D in the staff as 1-3 and G as sometimes 1-3

Pro/con: this tuba is an air hog. It will train you to be efficient with your air and breathing mechanism.
