$150 for a CC Conn 2J SOLD

Post by Matt Walters »

..... lacquer finish bell only. Not a complete tuba but I got you to look. This crack free bell is also a perfect fit on a Conn 4J and 11J. Will fit Conn 10J, 12J or 5J if you don’t mind the bell flair not being 18". It likely will fit an Olds 99 but I don’t have access to one to measure right now.
$150 plus shipping cost ($40-$80 gets to most of the USA). Healthy, not sanded and buffed thin bell that is 26” tall, has a 16.75” diameter bell flair and a 3.9” diameter (12-5/8” circumference) at the small end. It is located at Woodbridge, NJ. Bell has just the Conn engraving with no model numbers so you can use it on various tubas. Can be used as is or would make a great candidate for overhaul if you wish. This is also a perfect size for a large F tuba project. Included with the bell are the free bottom bow and top branch with nickel plated ferrules. Email Matt at dillonmusic dot com if you want some pictures.

I don't ship Greyhound.

What is the name of that dance where people hit their butts together? Please wait until Sunday afternoon or later to give me your answer.

Re: Conn 2J, 4J or 11J Bell. $220 or good enough offer.

It's called the bump. Bell, bow and top branch would also make a great starting point for a F or Eb Frankentuba. Want it out of the way so make an offer north of stupid.

Are you kidding? That price does not include me overhauling the bell and branches, then sending them out to Anderson for bright silver plating.

Still available and taking up space. At this price point we are talking about lawn art and selling it at a flea market for twice as much.
