B&S Perantucci 5th valve slide for the smaller bore rotor F

I thought I was buying a PT10 or PT15 slide, but bought a 5th valve slide for a small bore B&S, like a PT8 Approx .670 bore I didn't think to ask, and no sense in returning the part. I took out the shallow dent and rounded out the tubing (down to where there is only a small visible line) and re-listed it for the same price.

I wonder if the piping would. Fit on my alex f tuba so i could just. Lengthen the 5th valve slide

My Alex F's bore is in the .705 range, fwiw. Maybe a hair bigger.

This is smaller than that. If the slide were .700 or so, I'd say go for it, but I think it is too different of a bore to do what you want it to do.
