SOLD $1500 Mack 410CC Gold Brass w/ Cronkhite Bag

Post by Dubby »

Edit February 12: Price drop to $1500 for tuba and bag. Motivated to sell quickly.

Selling a Mack 410 CC in Lacquer with a Gold Brass bell. I also have a red Cordura Cronkhite case sized for the Miraphone 186. I am located in Sioux Falls, SD but am willing to drive a fair distance to meet with a buyer. I would prefer to not ship as I have zero experience packing a tuba.

For the tuba and case I would like $1500obo. New the tubas are $2095, and the case would be about $400 if it were still in production, so I think this is a fair price. If someone were interested in only the tuba or only the case, I would be willing to sell them separately as well. Preference would be given to a buyer for both though.

Well, after talking with my teacher and looking at options for next year, I' have decided to try and part with my tuba. I am not in any rush to sell it, but having the available funds would be more helpful, especially as I can continue to play on my school's horns and am not at the level where they are holding me back :tuba:

I got this tuba last summer in a trade for the horn in my signature since I was looking to try a CC horn and this came up at the right time. I love the horn, but I would rather have someone playing it and enjoying it while I am gone than have it sit at my parent's house.

Hi:
I am very interested in this instrument. I realize that you are hoping to sell it outright and may not be interested in what I might offer. I am retired and laying out even $1500 at once would be difficult, However, if we could make an arrangement over a relatively short period of time, that would work for me. Of course, you would retain the instrument until the arrangement is completed. If you would comsider this please let me know.
