Experience with the Polish Lion Bags Gigbag?

Post by sidenius »

Anybody with experience with the Lion Bags Gigbag which is being made in Poland?
I know that the one they make for baritone saxophone has got some really good reviews because of the cusion/protection.

I own one. Not as comfortable to wear as a supersac but have more padding and have some protection for the bell. Because I have to walk around a lot I prefer the supersac. I admit the horn would be safer in the lion.

I have a Lion bag for my Mira 186, and had one of the same brand, but with a sellers label for my MW2011 HoJo. Good bags imho, both top loader and tailored to the specs of the tuba very closely. No quality issues over 3 years each.

Is the Lion Bag with a sellers label by any chance from fmb-direkt.de?
I had a look at their FMB-bags and they look very much exactly like the Lion Bags (except for an extra handle at the front and the company label).
I can't find a seller of the Lion Bags anywhere in Europe

Look at their website http://lionbags.pl/en/" target="_blank, they list the international resellers there. Don't know whether there is any link between them and fmb-direct...
And yes, with mine also, no quality issues, I used it for years to carry around my brass band tuba.

Thanks everybody
I found out that fmb-direct.de has a company product line of bags made for them by lionbags.pl.
I ordered a custom made bag at the cost of $360.
I find that rather cheap

Hi sorry for late answering, yes it was a bag from FMB. Identical with the one I have now, with at "Lion" badge.
