Leather Cronkhite bag for sale

Post by tclements »

I have a beautiful black leather Cronkhite bag (in perfect shape) for sale. When Glen ceased operations, they were going for $600. I am asking $400. It was built for a Hirsbrunner HB2P, my HB2 fits as well. According to Glen's specs, it is a 17.5" bell, with a 38" length. It SHOULD fit any instrument with these dimensions. I'm happy to ship it to you.

Hey Tony,

Just want to double check... could I get a 19 inch bell in that bag?
Walter Nirschl 4/4 CC 38X19.

Your add is very clear but... worth a try!

And if a 19 won't work, how about an 18-incher?

Glenn's measurements were not always reliable, if it actually fitted a HB2P well then it will almost certainly fit the Nirschl 4/4 CC.

Chinese Reunion Blues might not be a good guide to Cronkhite after the separation, but as a data point I had a leather RB bag that fit my 2P perfectly but wouldn't zip around the bell of my Nirschl 4/4.

Buy now, try later?

I'm not sure about the sizes, but that's a GREAT deal for this bag. When I bought my Willson, it came with a 15-year old black leather bag from Cronkhite. After that many years, it was still in excellent condition, and looked like it could easily go another 15 years without blinking.

(...and I sold it for only a little less $ than Tony is asking for his nearly-new bag!)
