SOLD King 2341
I bought this tuba last year on tubenet, had a bunch of work done on it, and don't play it much so I feel guilty. Recently overhauled and chem cleaned with new felts, etc. Comes with new Wessex gig bag. Bell was damaged at some point in the past and is cosmetically imperfect, but I had It repaired by Jim Langenberg last year. Located outside Chicago, don't want to ship. Asking $2500.

Re: King 2341
It plays great! The only issue I have with it is that draining spit sometimes requires some choreography. I'm a smaller person and the band I use this tuba with has a very tight stage, so doing the "King spin" isn't easy. I have thought about one of those Joy keys for it.

Wow this horn is so nice I love these old style ones. Is that the 19 or 22 in. bell? Looks like a 19 but hard to tell. Very rarely do you see one this nice.

It's the 19" bell. It's a great tuba, which is why I feel guilty about not playing it much. I want it to go to someone who will actually use it.

Honestly I'm scared to ship it. It doesn't have a hard case and since the bell has been repaired previously, I worry that it wouldn't take much abuse.

Bump. Still not comfortable shipping, but willing to meet a buyer halfway (within reason).

Re: King 2341
There's very little chance of damage if you ship the horn in two cartons.ufonium2 wrote: Still not comfortable shipping...
