Sold:TE-900CL for sale $4,500 plus shipping. Located in Ohio

Post by feickmb12 »

I am looking to sell my TE-900CL, which is a clone of the B&S PT-6 CC. I purchased this horn from the Tuba Exchange in March of 2013 for $6000 and I love the horn. I recently joined a British Brass Band and a CC horn is not optimal for the setting. The horn plays great and I am upset that it does not work for my current use.

There are only a few dings and scratchs here and there as it was used in a few college bands. The dent on the bottom bow is much smaller than the photo indicates. The lacquer is in great shape with little to no wear. The horn is most likely a Wisemann 900 with the Tuba Exchange stamp on it or from the same factory. The offer does include the original hard case.

The horn is currently located in Columbus, Ohio and I am willing to bring it to the Philadelphia area for purchase since I do have family in the area, or I can ship it.

Unfortunately I can not create a trial period for the instrument as it is my only horn. If you would like to try the horn I am more than will to play it here for an hour or two before purchase.

I would like to get at least $4500 for the horn plus shipping, however I am will to negotiate for a reasonable offer. Also will accept a trade for a BBb compensating 3+1 tuba of similar quality.

I figured. Similarly priced and design not to be a Wisemann.

In the Chicago area bands the horns don't often correspond to the key indicated on the parts. :tuba:

Good luck with the sale.
