Hi Everyone,
I have an opening next Fall (2017-18) for a teaching assistant in the tuba/euphonium studio at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. This position is open to anyone interested in pursuing a Master of Music degree in tuba.
The assistantship comes with a full tuition waiver and a stipend of aprox. 9,000. Responsibilities include rehearsals, performances, and outreach with the Graduate Brass Quintet and duties within the tuba/euphonium studio.
UMass Amherst is a large state university with a thriving music department. We are relatively close to Boston and New York and have easy access to major East Coast musical institutions. Please contact me if you have any questions.
Thanks!
