SOLD: JW York and Sons 6/4 CC Tuba

Post by JMyersTuba »

Hello all!

The time has come for me to sell my 6/4 York CC, which is quite frankly, one of the best horns I've ever had the privilege to play. My reason for selling, is that I have found an old 4/4 York that I had previously owned, and that horn will much better suit my needs.

This horn was cut to CC by Bob Rusk somewhere around 2000 or so, and was one of three of these done through Baltimore Brass. There was a thread done on this horn years ago at an army conference, regarding how it played against an array of other horns, and this one was chosen (from behind a screen) as playing the best.

I have owned this horn since 2015, and have taken great care of it. I will have it cleaned before selling.

Pictures will be made available later, but I can email some for now if a potential buyer desires.

Price of the horn is 13,500, which includes both a hard and soft case (although the soft case will need some handles replaced, it still works well as a backpack)

I prefer not to ship, but will do so at the buyers expense. Horn is located in Harrisburg, PA.

Please email me at dolphinsfan10@aol.com" target="_blank" target="_blank with any questions you may have.
