Broken leadpipe, and perhaps other things, but you don't see these every day...

Hopefully it can play again?

BIN of $1950. Seems like a lot but I don't know.

The piece of the mouthpipe that was torn off is there which certainly makes that repair a little bit simpler. Third valve is down- missing spring or stuck? The dents in the branch below the bell stack look reachable from the bell and the other dents don't look really serious. I bet the slides are stuck. It needs work but nothing crazy. Wish I had $$$ to spend. A helicon *is* on my 'to buy' list. Not this year, though...

Not entirely sure if there is a connection between Pan American and Conn, but i am remiss in not pointing this out as well here:

Pan American was Conn's student/budget line.

I keep forgetting about this listing as well:

It is off the beaten path as far ebay inatrument listings go.

And well, i guess it is an Eb but this recently went up as well:

And as regards the original listing in this thread, i had a chance to chat with the seller last week. Sounded like he may be bringing it to a repair fellow to fix the neck. I also mentioned this thread, so he might come aboard. Who knows...
