Hello All,
I have been looking at a used tuba offered for sale from the Russian Federation. I've been able to find a listing for the import duty charged by the US (2.9%) and this is not a deal-breaker. However, I'm wondering whether I would also be liable for export duties from Russia and, if so, what those would be. I've done a google search and been unable to find the information needed.
Does anyone know whether I'd pay (or does the seller/shipper when shipping) an export duty and, if so, what it would be?
Thx,
royjohn

An idea would be to contact the Russian Embassy in DC and ask themm your question.
