Wisemann 900 pt6p clone. SOLD!

Post by MikeMason »

Didn't anticipate selling this one, but, I've found another wisemann I like a little better. These horns both play great and it was honestly hard to decide which one to keep. So I am selling my lacquered one I got from Tom Mcgrady a few years back. It's lacquer is around 90-95%. I had 2 small braces added to floating leadpipe and a larger bell-to-bottom bow brace for stability. These mods burned the lacquer in each place. The bottom bow is quite scratched up from use of a Hercules stand, which I should have added some foam to. The thumb ring and valve buttons will be goldplated with some gold wear. Standard wisemann valves have been vented and are great. The top valves slides have scratches in a few places from water dumping. There are other scratches as well. Trying to keep expectations low but the horn does still look "good" and shiny. No dents. Plays great. Many think better than the original. I haven't played enough real pt6p's to really weigh in. I just know this horn plays great. Comes with the original Chinese foam case, which I find useful for shipping ,and a great condition altieri gig bag.horn is in montgomery,al. Shipping by greyhound or FedEx at buyer's expense. Rumor is that these aren't currently available new,and possibly won't be again. Looking to net 5200.00. This is a lot of horn for that amount of money. I'll take some pictures and email to serious buyers.
