My cheap 3/4, 3valve tuba just isn't cutting it anymore. I play at least 2 times a week in several community bands and other amateur gigs. I would like a used 4/4, 4 valve/rotor horn. Sorry, no sousaphones.
No upright valves!!
Older/Cosmetically challenged horns ok but have to be in reasonably good shape.
Just can't lay out big money for a horn.
Am being advised by an experienced technician at a reputable repair shop so I want details of model, its history, any work done to it, detailed pics of the horn and any imperfections in it.
In Westetn PA. Would like to try it if possible.
Thanks.
Want good intermediate 4/4 tuba in West PA

Just a nice coincidence that you're both in PA.
Good luck!
