How'd I miss seeing that one! I think I have an image of the same horn in my database.

I'm pretty much a BBb player. I would not have spent any more time with it than it takes to blow a few scales.

Well, I just bought it, so I guess I'll find out myself. Figured it would sound similar to a Marzan

Does it have any numbers/letters stamped in the paddle bar? ... like a six digit date code and DWS?

A serial number on a 'slant-rotor' Marzan? There may be a one or two digit build number for parts identification stamped on the paddle bar that matches the rest of the linkage parts but I've never seen a serial number on a 'slant-rotor'.

AHA! I should have noticed that even though the original poster called it a Marzan. I didn't even notice that this is a piston horn. I must be slipping! Sorry.

Carry on.
