Play test the new EASTMAN EBC-836 6/4 CC prototypes!
Ryan Richman, of Eastman Music Company, is bringing some prototype EBC-836 6/4 size CC tubas to Dillon Music. On Friday August 18th, 2017 from 10am to 4:30pm you can come over, play test and ask questions about these brand new tubas!
Does anyone know anything about this new horn?

Re: Eastman 836 6/4 CC
EBC-836 numbers one and two were shipped to the store and I already played them. I have NO business needing a 6/4 CC tuba but they are so easy to play, I might be buying one for my wife as a Christmas Present. "What's that dear? You don't play tuba? Oh well, I'll take one for the team and play it for you."
Dillon Music might have to up their original order of 12.

Ok, event has ended, beer hour is probably winding down by now...
Details?
Really happy for you, Matt, to develop another great tuba. It's a damn shame that it can't be built in the US, but I know that ship has all but sailed.

Sorry but I can't take any credit for that tuba. Eastman did a great job and I expect the production horns to be even better.Really happy for you, Matt, to develop another great tuba.
