SOLD B&S PT6P

Post by Philtubes »

Hello,
I'm putting this excellent horn on the market.
I've owned this horn for almost 6 years and bought it new from custom music in the fall of 2011.
It is one of the better PT6s you'll ever play. I've played many PT6 horns new and older models. Unless modified in some way, this plays better than any of those.

I had the 4th slide lengthened to give it more pull so that low F# and C# can be played in tune.
It's in great playing condition and has typical ware that one would expect from a 6 yearold horn.

I'm asking $10,000 and this includes a very nice rarely used MTS case, and a gig bag that is in okay shape.

I've played this particular PT-6 before (we did our undergrad together in Florida) and I can attest that this tuba is a fantastic iteration of the model. Definitely worth anyone's time who's looking for a 5/4, well-playing instrument!
