Martin 31 OR 32 tuba mouthpiece

Post by Paul Scott »

Hello All,
I'm seeking a Martin 31or 32 tuba mouthpiece. They were made differently over the course of time and I'm looking for one with "Martin" engraved on the raised area just before the shank. I'm looking for a player so condition of the rim and shank is important.

Please pm me if you have one in your collection that you'd be willing to sell.

Best,

Paul

Okay, I have found a 32 (although I'd like another if you have one). Now I'd really like a 31 which is a small mouthpiece originally intended for Eb tubas.
There is also a 34 which is a large one. Please contact me if you have any of these.

Best,

Paul

A Martin #32 is a very weird mouthpiece. A design concept that seems to have no practical application (maybe on the F). But sometimes people have strange set-ups and sound amazing. Those types of players are kind of fun.

Hmmm, so no Martin 31 tuba mouthpieces out there? This would be a smallish one, originally provided with Eb tubas. Still interested if one surfaces.

Hmmm, thanks for letting me know that you've seen a 31. Still looking if anyone has a Martin 31 tuba mouthpiece of any style.
