B&S GR-41 CC (SOLD)

Postby Jthaxton12 » Sun Sep 17, 2017 11:20 pm

Up for sale is my B&S GR-41 (PT-606P) CC tuba. I bought it new in 2007 and I'm the only owner. This horn was hand picked by Dan Perantoni for me. I'm asking $8000 OBO. The horn comes with a hard case, pt-50 mouthpiece, and the original European main tuning slide. Pictures are listed below.
If you would like an amazing horn that does it all, this is the one! I am only selling because I found an amazing 6/4 horn and bass tuba, and I already have a decent 4/4. Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions.

There are some strong nibbles, but no financial commitment yet. Feel free to make me an offer!

I've played this horn a lot! It has a sound that can be heard in any size ensemble. Intonation is spot on with almost no slide pulling. If you like B&S tubas, you'll love this. I enjoy playing it and playing beside it in symphonic band and duets!

just for any potential buyers...

Those dents are really easy to remove (nicely), as long as you don't hand the instrument over to some goon.

The eventual buyer absolutely does ~not~ have permission to ship it to me, but were they to BRING it, they would be in and out of the shop in twenty minutes.

The PT-50...uh...can't fix that.
