Hi all,
I have a 3/4 F tuba for sale stamped with Schiller. Schiller for those who do not know is a stencil of Jinbao so this is a Chinese tuba. This tuba is in great shape and only shows a small amount of wear in the lacquer. I have used this tuba in the Alma Symphony Orchestra, and several small ensembles and it fits the bill very well! The reason I plan to sell this horn is that I am looking into a larger F tuba to complement my Rudy 5/4 in orchestral playing and to add a bit more sound in my brass quintet without going overboard with my very large CC tuba. Some quick notes about this horn-- the intonation is very good but the first valve slide needs pulled on D in the staff and pushed in on G in the staff. The low C is a bit of a bear but with a good deal of patience and consistent practice the C can be managed (sometimes an alternate fingering 1+2+5 works better than 4). This horn is located in Alma Michigan and my asking price is $1800 plus shipping. Will consider trades for a Cimbasso in F or a 3/4-4/4 CC tuba.

hmmmmm looks nice, hows the valve action? You're about 2 hours north of where I live and I've always wanted an F. Would you be open to a payment plan (Multiple payments over a few months?)
