Re: 5/4 Rudy BBb for testing
I used a WH-B2 for a while with my Willson 3050RZ. It is a very large mouthpiece, with a huge bore. I could make a HUGE sound with it, but the all-around bigness of it took more control and player maintenance than I could reasonably give it. A better player might have better luck, but I liked the concept of it!

So I've had the WH-B2 for a few days now.

I recommend (besides the WH-B2) Perantucci's PT-50. This is a killer mouthpiece that everyone should have IMHO. Also, the PT-88 is a good choice. Not necessarily the PT-88+-Version, the normal 88 is more versatile. For instance, my RM Bayreuth performs much better without the heavy "+"-casings of either PT-50 and PT-88. Most players in Germany use one or more of those 3 candidates. Cheers from Germany!Mike-Johnson-Custom wrote: Great point!!
Which mouthpieces would you recommend?
I've been trying Laskey 30H/B/G on my 693 and decided they don't really work.
Using a DE T cup with a 6 backbore and that's much better. But info on what's used in Germany would be great!
