Schlipf Tuba Practice Mute Size question

Post by tuba_dude07 »

Hi all,

I've been looking investing in one of the Schlipf Practice mutes and I have a question about it before buying.

While looking where to buy it, i found this website ( https://www.thomannmusic.com/mutes_tuba ... ipf&oa=rat" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank )

I noticed that there a multiple sizes (labeled as NR 0-11). I play on a Conn 54J with 19" Bell. I didn't see my model under any of the mutes. I checked a few of models they mentioned and I didn't see any that had a 19 bell for a comparison. Does this mean it wouldn't fit?

Any advice before buying would be great. Thanks!! :tuba: :tuba: :tuba:

You might also want to give Lee Stofer a call. Not sure if he has any in stock, but I bought one from him years ago. Couldn't have been any easier!
