Anybody know who is playing with Weird Al’s band at the end of the clip?
Warning. If you haven’t watched clips from this show before, the language can be quite strong.

Re: With Weird Al on John Oliver’s ShowAlso, any help you more experienced TubeNetters can offer on embedding YouTube links is much appreciated.

Re: With Weird Al on John Oliver’s ShowThanks. It looks like we did the same thing but mine didn’t embed. Is it perhaps because I tried to embed using my phone and the link I copied was a short link?

Re: With Weird Al on John Oliver’s Show1. delete the "secure" "s" from "https"
2. if it does not work you may have to use different versions of the link. It took me three tries on this one. You can cut and past the link as it appears in the address window of your browser, you can use the one in the Share link below the video, or you can try to truncate the link that the Share link will produce in the browser window by removing the "featured" tag in the address which is what I ended up doing. I had to make a 4th attempt because when I figured it out I forgot to remove the S from https again. It takes effort. It is not automatic. There is not some easy secret. You have to decide that you want to display a video and then you have to work to get it to display. Sean's chosen software is just weird like this when it comes to linking YouTube content inline. Sometimes you just have to reload it several times to get your browser's cache to switch to the new version. (Meaning, it may work for others but not for you. Usually this is not the case, however. If you don't see it normally no one sees it.) Soft soldering outdoors in a heavy wind sucks. There. I said it.
Re: With Weird Al on John Oliver’s ShowThis is your link.
[ youtube ]https://youtu.be/TrS0uNBuG9c[ /youtube ] This is my link. Not the same at all. [ youtube ]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TrS0uNBuG9c[ /youtube ] I added the spaces in the tags so that they could not display and you could compare the link form differences. Soft soldering outdoors in a heavy wind sucks. There. I said it.
Re: With Weird Al on John Oliver’s Showthis is my method (though I don't use it very often) don't use the youtu.be link... ever. That means taking the .be link and pasting it into a browser address bar, which will cause the real link to form. yes, take out the S after the HTTP Remove the & sign and anything to to the right of it
