Perfectly useless, at least for me.

I use Conn bits for my Conn sousaphones.

Sears or Montgomery Ward, followed by JC Penney. Those are my top three.

Those are Blessing stencils. I always feel like Sears rips me off on the shipping when I purchase sousaphone bits from them.

Nothing beats the German craftsmanship of genuwine Schiller bits. Those things give me vociferous subtones.

[Sigh] Don't you all know that a snaffle bit will do more for riding the slides and a curb bit will put more control and "horsepower" in your tone?
