A Call for Photos

Post by Mike Finn »

Now that I've got my new site up and running, I thought it would be fun to have a gallery page to showcase tubists (and their tubas) who use my mouthpieces. This might also be helpful to the folks who ask "which mouthpiece works with this particular tuba?" If you would like to participate, please contact me via e-mail with the model mpc, the make and model tuba, and what ensemble(s) you regularly perform with. Also feel free to include your school, teacher, and any other information.
Thanks in advance, I'm hoping this will be an entertaining and informative page for everyone.

Oh, and please take a moment to fill out my poll, I'm gearing up for a massive marketing blitz to coincide with the release of some new designs.

Click on the thumbnail to view a cutaway photo showing the interior contours of the MF2, MF3 and MF4.
is it just me or is that not working yet?
the little cutaway pic just to the left of that statement is the thumbnail. click on that pic to get the other cutaways

Nope...

There's no "little cutaway pic just to the left of the statement". I'm using IE too. I even turned off my Firewall (ZoneAlarm) to see if that was the culprit.

Just thought you should know Mike.

Thanks for the heads-up, I'll check into it. I can probably make one of the words an active link, in case the thumb doesn't show on some browsers. It should work with IE though.

In the meantime, here's photo in question:

Mike,

The code is correct for you to show the picture here in your post. You might check the options under your 'profile' and be sure you have 'allow bbcode'.

Didn't the Santa Clara Vanguard use a Mike Finn MP last year on the contra line?

Overstuffed Piggy

Post by IkeH »

First played them at Lee Stofer's, and am enjoying the #2 with the small shank. Make's the piggy sound much bigger than it is. Thanks, Mike.

OK, I think I've fixed the issue with the thumbnail, or at least provided a "work-around"....
Back to the topic at hand: I've finally gotten around to posting some pics in the gallery, and there's plenty of room for more! (Hint, hint)
