While I have heard you, and have no doubt you fit in, it makes me think of my past a bit.
In 1992 I made it into the Disney World All American College Orchestra. We all got there that first day and were so excited to be part of the 'best of the best'.
One of the horn players then stated, "hey, did you ever think that maybe it was an off year for auditions and we were the best they could come up with??"
