Instrument Insurance

I contacted Clarion to get a quote on insuring my tubas. Clarion wants a bill of sale less than three years old or an appraisal for tubas I have owned more than three years. Any suggestions on how I can get an appraisal that Clarion will accept?

Just get a price quote from a dealer for the cost to replace the instrument, in the event of a total loss. That's what I give to them, with no trouble.
