Bb Neo Gig Bag Ideas

Post by Voisi1ev »

Looks like no option for a Chronkite.

Looking at the big Protec, a little worried there might be too much space.

Looks like the Wessex might be a bit too short.

Hoping to find a side loader.

But might end up ordering an Altieri.

About 19.5 inch bell, 41 inches tall.

Suggestions?

I have owned one of these tubas for a number of years and I have always used the large protec bag.It gets the job done but it does not offer a lot of protection. No major damage yet. Mr Tuba over in England makes bags for these horns.Only drawback... hugely expensive. Check out the Wessex website. They have many different options for gig bags. Hope this helps.

Just look here:

I have one for the Eb Besson, one for the Bb Saxhorn and one for the ophicleide and they are great. And made-to measure...

Probably going with Messina. Forgot about them.

Would like a Gard Wheelie, but don't want to wait until September, I have some parks I need to haul it across before then for summer stuff.

They are NOT good in grass or dirt - wish I could find some small pneumatic tires! Well, pneumatic tires and a self propelled bag!
I though the carts ones had backpack straps also?

Pretty certain a Neo fits in a Miraphone bag designed for their 3+1 Bb comp, even though the bells are different sizes. Good bags.

Go with the Miraphone bag. Great protection and it should easily fit your instrument.

it's labeled incorrectly as the Hagen 497 bag on the website but it is obviously for a top action tuba. Great price and should be readily available.

All the best.
