Tuba storage serious question

Post by ronr »

Am I ok long-term storing my new tuba on its bell? It’s in a Cronkhite bag. Anything special I could do to protect the bell?

Yes, that will be fine. In terms of protection, it's a gig bag, don't let anything hit it too hard.

At Baltimore Brass and Dillon Music, the tubas are all standing on their bells. Good enough for them, good enough for you! :P
