All seems to be said on my part as one who only knew his tubenet posts.

I expect i will continue to come accross and enjoy his contributions here every time i follow a subject in depth.
Thanks for playing!

I had seen this on Schlep's Facebook page. RIP, Klaus. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us. You'll be missed.

Klaus was a great source of information on European tuba history. Sympathies to his family, his voice will be missed here.

Phooey. I knew he had ongoing health problems and almost didn't make it a few years ago. I did not realize he was only 71. As everyone else has said, he will be missed. RIP.

I’m both saddened, and grateful. I enjoyed his intellect, and willingness to readily help others. When I mentioned to him that I play Eb, he offered some helpful techniques. Thank you, Klaus.
