What is on this mouthpiece?

Hello!

Do you know guys what this guy have on his mouthpiece or what is that, this piece of metal is like half of his face :shock: :shock: :shock:

It is Romera Brass "Mel Culbertson 3" model, they came in that form but now they have smaller outer shell.

If you look at the Romera Brass Instrument web site under Signature mouthpieces, you'll see that he has a custom mouthpiece named for him, but the three pictures do not really show a mouthpiece except in the worst possible view. Helpful, it's not.
