Well, I talked him down some and took the plunge. We'll see how it looks when it gets here. Still trying to figure out what model it is.

These play great if you put a York 33 or other Monster sized upright bell on them.

Pitch is low with the front bell.

I look forward to seeing how the sound compares to the 2 XJ Conns and the Martin Mammoth. I need to invest in a good back brace. :lol:

Plays like a beast. Good horn for the age it is. Valves are pretty good. Played it in a parade last weekend. Blended with the band well and fairly in tune.
