Miraphone 180 5V F

Post by jmerring »

I need opinions about the horn, in general, from those that have played it. I just bought one (to learn it). I am told they are not well in tune.

Opinions, Please?

If you already have it, work with it. You must be fairly serious if you want to learn an F horn. Work with your ears, too. I can't think of ANY horns that are in tune throughout the whole range. Learn to adjust. Doesn't matter what anyone else THINKS, matters what you can DO.
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

Wait until September

Wait until September. Then everybody will be rushing to buy the new Miraphone 281, and there should be plenty of used F tubas on the market.

Or, you could wait a few months longer, and there will be plenty of used Miraphone 281 tubas on the market.
