Yamaha Sousaphone Stand - Found

Post by Michael Grant »

I’ve been trying to find one of these for a while now.
Anyone, by chance, have one they would sell?

You and me both! They seem to have disappeared, but I'd love to find one.

Just as a public service, I believe you will find some at Baltimore Brass. Just call them.

Good question. These are far and few between. I had someone contact me after I put a request out. My guess is that is the only way to find one as anyone who uses them don’t wish to part with them. Like you I have the Hercules and it only works “so so” for a helicon, which is what I have. Best of luck.

Baltimore Brass does indeed have a few of these in stock for any who might be looking!
Call 410 744 1723 and ask for Kody and I would be happy to help.

So I see online many sellers of this stand but they all say tuba and Sousaphone and all have pictures and descriptions of it holding a tuba.are these modular and able to take both or is this a generic description.

I think those are a general description. The ones I think you are speaking about would not hold a sousaphone. The one that started this thread is for sousaphones / helicons only and (to the best of my knowledge) no longer made.
