Conn 14K SN# Question
Need help with the serial number on my 14K. Conn Loyalist tells me Conn stopped manufacturing the 14K in 1971, but also tells me the first 3 of my SN, GC7, is March of 1977. Anyone have any guidance?

Re: Conn 14K SN# Question
Its raw brass which definitely isn't original. And I have several little bits of "character" a previous owner etched it. Actual found a new one as I took those pictures.

Re: Conn 14K SN# Question
Well, it does looks like your 14K was made in March, 1977:

According to the same site, my "Ladyface" 14K (SN# 534XXX) was made sometime between 1955-56.
In good working condition, they are great players

Glad I'm not the only one confused. If it is Frankened with a 36K they did a great job because it plays awesome.

Re: Conn 14K SN# Question
Yep. Looks like an old bugle with a newer valve set to me.
