Are you asking for playing related jobs? Just curious because some with a music ed/performance backgrounds end up as coordinators/organizers for venues that require no playing.

Yeah...the stuff that sells is tunes people already know. Arrange neat stuff for brass quintet or horn quartet and money can be made. Forget about original music making money unless you are an Ewazen.

Church music - Pianist (usually part-time only), Organist (usually part-time only), 'Minister of Music' or 'Choirmaster' or whatever that position gets called in the variety of worship traditions is frequently a full-time minister position that may include other responsibilities within the church.
Military Service Bands - Includes Enlisted and Officers - Can include Jazz, Big-Band and other formats, not just wind band or marching band.
College Music Department - Adjunct, Professor, Departmental positions (secretary, etc.)
