Give me advice on how to make things better

more administrative privileges than I should have...

Postby bloke » Wed Mar 13, 2019 5:17 pm

I've noticed that I'm able to lock threads - threads that I originate - in (apparently) all forums.
I don't believe that I should be afforded that privilege.
I asked for that privilege in one forum a while back, and was granted that, but I view this which I just reported as an over-extension of privileges to me.
If this is difficult to change, I'm willing (simply) to ignore that "superpower"...

There are switches in the admin panel that turn off and on permissions. Sometimes turning one on in one area turns everything on as well even if it’s technically turned off. It’s like having 2-3 light switches in one room. A bit pita. If I can, I’ll take a look this weekend.
