That would be the 3200. A fine F tuba, that doesn't come around too often!

The original mate to that horn was the 3200FA-5, which is no longer advertised but could probably still be purchased. The two new F tubas are the XL, which has a different wrap, and the new smaller F, which also has a different wrap.

The older version of the 3200FA-5 was sold under the label KURATH and was identical to the original version of the 3200 except that it did not have a patented Willson Rotax 5th valve, but a generic rotor. (Mine looks to have been made by Jürgen Voigt in Germany.) These are more handmade than the later Willson 3200s and play really well. They are also very heavy, and are rather rare. If you come across a Kurath F tuba that is essentially the same as what you are looking for and would be very much worth looking into. There have been a few up for sale here over the last five or six years.

Good luck!

I too play a Wilson 3050 and earlier I owned a Wilson 3400 EEb and a Wilson 3299 F. .I’ve retained the 3400 but sold off the 3200 F, my conclusion being the best fit is the Wilson 3050 with the Wilson 3400. Just 1 person’s opinion.
