Schiller 3/4 CC SOLD
Up for sale is my Schiller 3/4 CC. It's a copy of a Yamaha 621 CC, and plays great. The horn plays and responds great, with very good intonation. Valves and slides move well. The top caps on valve 3 and 4 tend to bind, but I haven't played many chinese tubas that don't have a similar issue. Valves action is very good, they just need to be kept oiled. Finish is pretty good too. Has a dent in the bell, and a few dings here and there. The bell might have a slight crease, but I really can't tell. This would make an excellent first CC tuba, or a great tuba to travel with. It gets a very good sound, and the low's are beefy. The only reason I'm selling it is to buy a Mackbrass CC. It'll come with the Schiller Styro-cloth case, with one of the handles has torn off of it. I'm in Southwest Florida, so if you're local, you're more than welcome to come try before you buy. Otherwise, I can ship it at the buyer's expense. Pictures are available on demand, just message me here with an email to send them to.
