-Valves 1-4 have model airplane linkages.
In addition to the “normal” F tuba repertoire, I have used this horn in recent seasons with the HSO for Meistersinger and Bruckner 4. Big, beautiful sound. Great intonation with the 6-valve options. It is a rotary F and feels like it in the mid-low register, but the sound a pitch are good down there. Nothing strange, just different than a piston horn.
Located in Honolulu. In an ideal world, you would take a long weekend, have a bit of a vacation, try the horn out, and, if you like it, buy a seat for it on the return flight. (And, of course, if you don’t like it, you don’t have the to buy or return it and you’re only out a trip to Hawaii!). I’ll buy you a Mai Tai either way (assuming you’re over 21).
I will ship if necessary, but it will be expensive and I will need to be paid in-full, in-advance of shipping and have the agreement that once the horn is in the shipping company’s possession, ownership has changed to you.

As always, make me an offer, the worst I can say is “no, thanks.”
