tuba/trumpet duet books

Post by Matt G »

Hi!

Was wondering that would be a good source of duet books that could handle tuba and Bb trumpet for younger players? A cursory examination of Amazon doesn't provide a ton of intuition.

Thanks!

I play these with my daughter, a middle school trumpet player:

I play on trombone but you could take them down an octave.

That's a nice resource, thanks for posting that.

The Amsden Famous duets are available in both bass clef and Bb treble and they're accessible to a young player. So are the Rubank duets.

The Jack Gale jazz duets come in bass clef and trumpet versions but are probably a little beyond a beginner in terms of range and technique. They're very nice though.
