Baritone mouthpiece question

Post by Big Toot »

I have a baritone that I am going to come into possession of on Sunday and I would like to get a decent mouthpiece for it. The bore is .590, the seller claims. What kind of mouthpiece would that take? It will use a large-shank mouthpiece for sure. Would it take my old Shilke 51D, for example?

I cannot.

I would link the pictures, but they are too big, apparently.

A casual web search suggests that this would likely be a euphonium, Besson or similar.
