Melton/Meinl Weston

Does anyone have any recent experience in obtaining parts from them? I recall that it was somewhat difficult immediately after their purchase by Buffet-Crampon - hopefully has it improved?

I did sort-of-successfully got a replacement Besson Bell via Buffet-Compton. It took an un-godly
amount of time just to set up an account for a credit card purchase. I'm a repair tech, and my customer's professor is a Besson Artist. I took 60 days to get the bell after the order was accepted. Bell arrived not engraved as ordered. The service you have heard about is correct. I now am forced to order a Meinl Bell for myself, at least my time constraints are more flexible.
