Hello Tubenet,
I'm selling my B & S PT6p CC Tuba. Asking price is $10000, but I'm willing to negotiate. I'm located in Rochester, NY, and I'd prefer not to ship it if possible.
I've used this horn since senior year of high school, and through my undergraduate studies at Eastman. It's a great horn with a great sound; I'm only selling it because I've switched my focus to music theory (I'm currently a PhD candidate), so there's no need for me to have a big orchestral horn.
I bought this horn from Ryan Schultz in 2013. It's got 4 pistons and 1 rotor; all of the pistons (valves 1-4) are vented. The valve cap on the fourth valve is a quarter. The leadpipe is raised. There are a few very minor dings, but overall it's in excellent condition. I had this horn professionally cleaned (with some re-lacquering done as well) at the end of May.
I also have a custom Glenn Cronkhite red and black leather gig bag for this horn, and an MTS case. I'll include the MTS case with any sale; the Cronkhite bag is negotiable if you'd like it as well.
