Hi All,
I really like how my Bobo Solo plays, but the only problem is that the inner part of the rim has a very sharp bite to it. This does not agree with my teeth so well. Does anyone have recommendations for mouthpieces that are very similar to the Bobo, but have a less sharp inner bite?

The AT8U or AT8UY from Dennis Wick would be similar to the Bobo mouthpiece and I prefer the rim on the AT line to the Bobo solo.
From the Dennis Wick website:
AT8U (Cup Diameter 32.8mm / Bore 7.90mm)
This new mouthpiece from Aaron Tindall is designed as a super-soloist’s mouthpiece for F tuba. It has a brilliant quality with an excellent high register, making it ideal for the rigorous demands of modern solo tuba repertoire. The cup has been designed to give great consistency of tone and a responsive low register, whilst producing a beautiful, singing tone in the high notes. The throat is larger than on some soloist models, allowing the player to produce a full sound across the range. The rim is designed by Warren Deck and is one of the most comfortable on the market. It features just the right amount of width and bite to give the player a sense of comfort and stability. This mouthpiece produces a rich and vibrant sound with plenty of focus. There is a distinct ‘shelf’ at the bottom of the cup which helps achieve a concentrated power that gives a sound that really projects.

Blokepiece aka Sellmansberger Solo. Hands down the best mouthpiece in that "class" I have ever come across, and you can select whatever rim you want.
And no, I am not shilling as mine already sold (no more F tuba)

The Shires 8 is the Bobo cup with a Laskey Rim.
