I’m selling my Meinl Weston 2182-W in lacquer finish. This is the model that Aaron Tindall revamped with the .750 bore and larger valveset from the early 2182’s. I picked this one out at Dillon Music in the Fall of 2016 from a group of 4, and have been the only owner.
This horn plays well. It has a very solid low register typical of piston F tubas, and, in my opinion, this horn seems to have a sweeter high register than most of the 2182’s that I’ve played.
Asking price: $9000
Includes Gard Gig Bag.
I'll edit to put pics here when I can get some decent images.
I would prefer not to ship if possible. (Depending on interest, I might change my mind on this.)
I’m located in between Boston and NYC and can easily meet up with serious potential buyers anywhere in the Northeast. I have trips down to DC coming up and can easily meet up with interested folks along the way.
Thanks for looking and all the best,
MW 2182-W For Sale
