I see that Dillons music is now stocking both models of the new shires euphonium.Anyone ever play one?

I've not tried one yet but understand that Hiram Diaz with "The President's Own" Marine Band plays one exclusively.

There is a pretty long discussion of this horn on dwerden.com.

I blew one for a very short time at ITF last summer, but not enough to really form an opinion. Even though it is less expensive than a new Willson or Adams, it is still out of my range as a part time amateur on the euph.
