Bought used from Dillon Music in 2002. Used for a music ed undergrad and has been played on and off in community wind bands and brass band since then. Down sizing my tuba fleet, and this one is the tool I need the least.
MAW Valves, PVAK Kit, original case is showing age but still works, Alteri Gig Bag. The bag and valves are only a couple years old
I feel intonation is pretty typical for a horn like this, jut a little first slide moving, MAW valves really opened up the low register especially.
Some dents on the guard on the bottom bough. A few little spots where the plating has started to wear off. Thumb ring went missing about 10-years ago. Last sonic cleaned spring of 2019, I'd give it a bath and good cosmetic polish before someone else takes it.
Looking for $4500 for just the horn/gig bag, $5000 for the horn bag and MAW Valves, $600 for just the valves (probably won't sell separately unless someone buys the horn).
Edit for Bump, Realizing I missed some DMs and probably over priced this....so update, I'm near Lansing MI and would prefer to drive a bit rather than ship.

Re: Conn 52J
I've sat next to Voisi1ev in a brass band while he played this horn and can attest to it's big sound and spot-on intonation. It's a great horn!
