45slp f Tuba for sale/Trade

Selling my 45slp f tuba. I’ve had this horn for 6 years and it’s served me well. Plays great and even in all registers, especially the low register!. It’s a bit too big for me as it’s a large f tuba. I’m interested in trading for a Yamaha 822 f or a rotary tuba . My asking price is $7,000 but I’m open to offers. It comes with a miraphone gig bag that fits the horn perfectly.

Your video alone almost convinced me I need an F tuba. I just don't have any money for one.

If anything, the 822 F has less of a characteristic F tuba sound than the 45SLP. I could understand you wanting a slightly smaller rotary F for solos, but you sound great on that and I don't think you would gain anything with an 822. In a perfect world where funds aren't the primary deciding point, keep that horn for orchestra/quintet and find a smaller inexpensive F to hold you over. It does seem to fit you well.
